Part Time Attendance Clerk/Office Assistant
USD 320 Wamego is accepting applications for a Part Time Attendance Clerk/Office Assistant at Wamego Middle School. Duties will include tracking students' daily attendance, completing weekly attendance reports, completing state reports related to attendance, answering the phone, and greeting visitors. Applicants must have quality computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office programs, specifically word and excel. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone skills are essential. Applicants must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment, be flexible and have a positive, willing-to-learn attitude. Office/clerical experience in an educational setting is preferred.
Scheduled hours will approximately be 7:30am - 12:30pm. While exact work dates vary annually based on the school calendar, this position will work approximately August 29 - May 31. This position will begin in August of 2026.
Pay begins at $13.56 per hour, or commensurate with experience/skills. The hours are around 25 hours per week.
